RESEARCH INTERESTS
Heterogeneous Catalysis
We are deeply interested in the development of novel heterogeneous catalysts for environmental remediation, organic transformations, rocket propellants...
EDUCATION
1999 - 2003
DDU Gorakhpur University
Ph.D.
Drug Delivery
We are also interested in developing drug delivery systems such as nanocrystals, solid lipid nano particles and polymer nano particles for poorly water soluble drugs and for cancer therapy.
1996 - 1999
Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam
M.Sc. Chemistry (Polymer Science)
1993 - 1996
Kerala University
B.Sc. Polymer Chemistry
Nano Materials
We prepare nano materials for catalysis and sensing applications, especially by using swollen liquid crystals as 'soft' templates. We are keenly interested in the synthesis of a nanostructures of metals, metal oxides, conducting polymers and their nanocomposites, especially with pristine graphene.
Flow Chemistry
This is an area that we are currently focusing to prepare nanomaterials using flow chemistry methods.
